Ok...so here it is. My new blog. I'm not exactly sure what I'm doing here and I'm, like, 10 years behind on this concept. But, nevertheless, here I am. Blogging...or maybe just babbling. They should call it babblespot.com...does that site exist? Probably.
In this first post, I'll give you the background. If you've known me for a while, you might want to skip this one...
For those of you who don't know, Cameron is my two year old son - my pride and joy - I know that sounds so cliche, but it's true. He brings me joy and stress daily and I'm learning so much being his mother. I've learned that no matter how many books and websites you consult, you still don't know jack about kids... I've learned that no matter how mad they make you, all it takes is a little smile to turn it back around...and most importantly, I've learned that every bad habit I have and exhibit, he will too. This has really caused me to think things through first...is it really worth getting mad about? I'm still working on slowing down a bit...
More about the fam - I married my high school sweetheart six years ago (after we'd dated for about seven years)...no, he wasn't chicken - we met really young and wanted to get through school first. We've been really lucky about things going according to plan so far. Hopefully this second child we'd like to have next year will cooperate, too! Neama is my opposite in so many ways...he's calm where I'm high-strung. He's frugal where I want to pay someone to do things for me. He loves physical, outdoor activity, where I would rather be inside relaxing. But, somehow, I love this man...more than I ever could have imagined. Having his son has made me love him even more...even though he drives me absolutely crazy on almost a daily basis!
I have a brother and sister (both younger) whom I don't see nearly often enough...they live about an hour away. As does my mom with her husband, David.
